The Impact of Dialogue and Discussion-Based Teaching on Students' Achievement in Management and Organization

This research aims to identify the self-teaching method and its impact on students' learning of Management and Organization at the College of Physical Education, University of Diyala. It also aims to develop an achievement test for students in Management and Organization, as the discussion-based approach to teaching Management and Organization relies on transforming the classroom into aninteractive space where students and teachers exchange opinions The concepts of management (such as leadership, planning, and decision-making) are explored to foster a deeper understanding and develop critical and analytical thinking skills. This is achieved through open-ended questions, dividing students into small groups for in-depth discussions, and guiding the dialogue towards practical solutions to management problems, while emphasizing active listening, composure, and respect for others' viewpoints to achieve the objectives The lesson was prepared in advance by defining the discussion objectives. The researcher used the experimental method with two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The sample consisted of (20) students. Through data processing using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), the study concluded that discussion is the transition from merely exchanging opinions to forming a shared vision based on The study emphasizes analysis, logic, and cooperation, along with acquiring thinking and decision-making skills, which prepares the student to face the challenges of administrative work effectively and efficiently. The study also recommended the necessity of using diverse teaching methods by professors within the classroom, including the dialogue method, due to its ability to attract the student's attention and increase their effectiveness and self-confidence.
