The effect of a counseling program in psychological engineering in developing the shooting skill of the clubs (Al-Rafidain and Diwaniya) handball for juniors

Abstract

The study aimed to prepare a counseling program, in addition to preparing a measure of psychological engineering for handball players in (Al-Rafidain and Diwaniyah) sports, as well as identifying the impact of the psychological engineering counseling program on the shooting skill of handball players in (Al-Rafidain and Diwaniyah) sports club. The researcher used the experimental method in the manner of equal groups due to its suitability for the research problem. The research community also included handball players in Al-Rafidain Club and Al-Diwaniyah Sports Club for the season (2022-2023). The percentage of the sample is (100%) from the original community, and the sample of the exploratory experiment was (8) players outside the research sample, and the researcher refused to conduct homogeneity and equivalence on the research sample. The most important results were the superiority of the experimental group over the control group in the measure of psychological engineering among handball players in Diwaniyah governorate clubs, as the results of the tests showed differences between the pre and post tests of the two groups (experimental - control) under study, and the counseling program affected the variables under study among the handball players in the Diwaniyah governorate clubs, and the experimental group outperformed the control group in the geometry scale The psychology of handball players in the clubs of Diwaniyah Governorate.
