The research aimed to identify the extent to which football players in Kirkuk Governorate football clubs possess the components of Physical literacy, and identify the extent to which football players in Kirkuk Governorate football clubs can manage sports injuries that they may be exposed to, as well as to identify the role that football players may play if they possess the components of physical culture in managing sports injuries that they may be exposed to. The researcher identified the research community as football players in Kirkuk Governorate clubs active in the leagues held by the Iraqi Football Association, numbering (440) players. The researcher chose (206) players to form the main research sample. Then this sample was divided into three sub-samples: the exploratory study sample with (6) players, the preparation sample with (120) players, and the final application sample with (80) players. To collect the required data, the researcher prepared two scales to measure the research variables. The first scale measures the level of physical literacy among football players with several paragraphs amounting to (15) paragraphs, and the second scale measures the level of sports injury management for football players with several paragraphs amounting to (15) paragraphs. After completing the application of the scales and processing them statistically, the results were extracted, through which the researcher reached a set of conclusions, which are:
- Football players in Kirkuk Governorate clubs have an average level of physical literacy components necessary to develop their physical abilities from their point of view.
- Football players in Kirkuk Governorate clubs' ability to manage the sports injuries they are exposed to during matches or training was at an average level from their personal point of view,
- Football players in Kirkuk Governorate clubs' possession of the components of physical literacy plays an acceptable positive role in their ability to manage the sports injuries that they are exposed to.
