Abstract

The primary objective of the current study was to demonstrate the relationship between the primary variable at the organizational level, organizational health, and improving employee performance in sports federations. To achieve this objective, a research model was designed that included a set of sub-variables, including organizational health and its four dimensions (esteem, morale, and organizational cohesion. The study model and the relationships included in it were built based on what the literature has proposed about the relationships between the factors included in the model. The research aimed to identify the dimensions of organizational health among members of the sub-sports federations in Nineveh Governorate, if the descriptive approach was used by survey method, and the research sample consisted of members of the sports federations branches in Nineveh Governorate, numbering (74) members. In collecting data, the questionnaire (Al-Kawaz and Iskandar 2021) was used, which was applied to a sample of educational supervisors in Iraq, after verifying its apparent validity and reliability. In processing the data statistically, the frequency, percentage, and arithmetic mean were used, while the research tool was the questionnaire, which was designed and distributed electronically. The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the moral impact of organizational health on improving the performance of employees in sports federations in Nineveh Governorate. The most important recommendation of the study is the need for sports federation management to pay more attention to organizational health by resolving the problems facing members and affiliates by providing open communication channels that enable them to convey problems to senior management and work to resolve them quickly. It is also necessary to provide appropriate working conditions for federation members, enabling them to implement changes creatively and enhancing trust among employees.
