Leadership personality and its relationship to self-confidence among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Islamic University

Abstract

The goal of the research.  Identifying the leadership personality among students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Islamic University, and identifying self-confidence among students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Islamic University. Research community: The researcher used the descriptive approach in order to suit the nature of the study. Research community. The research community was identified (1150)A student from the four stages of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Islamic University. As for the research sample, (100) students were selected for the study sample by a simple random method. The researcher concluded that the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Islamic University are distinguished by a good to very good level in the leadership personality scale that was applied, and the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences of the Islamic University are characterized by a good to very good level in the self-confidence scale that was applied, and correlations appeared.  Among the leadership personality research variables, there is a significant correlation between these variables. The researcher reached the adoption of the two measures of leadership personality and self-confidence as a measurement tool for coaches of national teams, clubs, and sports teams. The possibility of using the measures of leadership personality and self-confidence as a research tool in their research and studies related to the research sample, developing and strengthening the leadership personality and self-confidence among all athletes through development courses.
