The study aimed to identify the reality of the scouting movement in public universities, universities and private colleges from the point of view of the unit officials, scout people, roving leaders and guides, and to know if there is a difference in views between the officials of the units, scout people, roving leaders and guides, and the two researchers assumed, there is a discrepancy in the importance and realism of the movement. Scouting in public universities and private universities and colleges according to the variables of job title, gender, educational attainment, years of experience .The descriptive approach was adopted on a sample of (76) officials of scout units and divisions and scout leaders in Iraqi public universities and private universities and colleges, who were randomly selected from the research community for the academic year 2022. Through statistical treatments, the two researchers reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that the reality of the scouting movement from the point of view of the officials of the scout units and the scouting people and the scout leaders in public universities and private universities and colleges was to a good degree, and there is an urgent need in the scouting units and people in government universities, universities and private colleges to intensify Qualifying training courses for roving leaders and guides in line with the developments of the times.
the two researchers made some recommendations, the most important of which are the need for appropriate financial allocations to implement various scouting activities at the level of public universities, universities and private colleges, the need to harness the tasks of scout unit and division officials in public universities, universities and private colleges to implement and follow up their annual and ministerial plan and not assign them to duties outside the scope of scouting, broadcasting special programs About the scout movement in the audio-visual media to raise cultural awareness
