The problem of the study is focusing on the effect of the commanding method in teaching the performance of hammer throwing for beginners of ages (12) years. The objective of the study is to prepare an educational curriculum using the command method according to body mass in teaching performance. As well as identifying the effect of the commanding method according to the body mass above (40) kg and below (40) kg, and the best of the two research groups according to mass.
The researcher hypothesized that there were significant differences for the two groups, and the group that was characterized by a mass of more than (40) kg was considered the best.
The sample of the research was the primary stage students - age 12 - from Qutayba bin Muslim Al-Bahili School /
Al-Rusafa Education -2 ,(20) students. The researcher used the experimental approach to suit the research problem. The researcher also used the statistical means of the (Spss) program through the computer in processing the scores obtained from the pre and posttests.
The results were significant in favor of the group with a mass of more than (40) kg. The researcher recommended using the educational curriculum similar to the special curriculum in teaching athletics activities in schools and training centers affiliated to the Directorate of Education of Rusafa/2.
