Abstract

The current research aimed to build and apply a measure of emotional innovation among Taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate. and to identify the degree of emotional innovation among taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate. and to identify the differences in the emotional creativity of the taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate, according to the variable (class of players, type of sports participation, training age).

The researchers used the descriptive method using the survey and correlation method. The main research sample consisted of (180) Taekwondo players for some sports clubs in Nineveh Governorate. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, it required the construction and application of the emotional innovation scale with its dimensions, and verification of its validity and reliability. As the scale consists of (32) items distributed on four dimensions (emotional readiness, emotional novelty, emotional originality, and emotional effectiveness) and for each dimension (8) items, the lowest score for the scale is (32) and the highest score is (160). In processing the data statistically, the percentage was used. Arithmetic mean. Standard deviation. The simple correlation coefficient (Pearson). Cronbach's alpha equation. T test. One-way analysis of variance. Least significant difference test L.S.D. and the hypothetical mean. The researchers concluded the effectiveness of the measure of emotional innovation among Taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate, and its ability to diagnose when used as a means of measurement. There is also a discrepancy in the arrangement of the dimensions of emotional innovation among Taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate, according to the emotional innovation scale.
