Neuromuscular compatibility and its relationship to the performance of defensive follow-up skill among young basketball players

The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between neuromuscular compatibility with the performance of defensive follow-up skill among young basketball players, and the researcher assumed that there is a significant correlation between neuromuscular compatibility and defensive follow-up skill in basketball for young players. In the intentional way, which was represented by the basketball players of the Sports District Club for the season (2021 - 2022), and they represent (22.22%) of the original community of (54) players, and then the appropriate and appropriate tests were selected for this study. Appropriate statistical means The results were extracted and presented in tables, analyzed and discussed according to the objective and hypothesis of the research, and the researcher concluded that there is a significant correlation between neuromuscular compatibility and defensive follow-up skill in basketball for the research sample. The researcher recommended emphasizing that the training units include intensive exercises towards developing compatibility and defensive follow-up in basketball.
