Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the level of emotional commitment of the technical supervisors assigned to their profession within the sports and scouting activity departments in Iraq, and to reveal the level of desire for career transitions among them, as well as reveal the nature of the relationship between the emotional commitment towards the profession of the technical supervisors assigned to the sports and scouting activity departments and their career transitions from them. To apply the researcher's procedures, the researcher used the descriptive approach using the survey and correlation methods. The research community was determined by the technical supervisors assigned to the sports and scouting activity departments affiliated with the education directorates in the governorates of Iraq, which number (20) departments. These departments include in their various branches (239) technical supervisors in the capacity of assignment. The researcher chose them all to represent the main research sample. After that, this sample was divided into three sub-samples. The first is the exploratory study sample, which has (9) supervisors. The second is the statistical analysis sample, which has (132) supervisors. The third sample is the final application sample, which has (92) supervisors. To collect the required data, the researcher prepared two scales to measure the research variables. The first scale measures the level of emotional commitment of the technical supervisors assigned to their profession with (15) paragraphs, and the second measures the level of job transitions of these supervisors with (14) paragraphs. After completing the application of the scales on the final application sample extracting the results, and processing them statistically to obtain the levels of the research variables, the research reached a set of conclusions, which are:
