Abstract

The importance of the research was evident in raising the level of teaching types of handball shooting from movement and stability, which are the most used types in the game according to a scientific strategy of a scientist who has the ability to draw a learning map, which is the (Mayer) strategy, and thus we put a correct strategy in learning and advancing the game of handball. The research problem was: Raising the level of skill performance, especially handball shooting, and its importance in achieving results requires the use of an appropriate educational strategy that works to raise the level of these skills and according to the concepts, branches and level of players in performance, and on this basis, the success of education gives the real indicator of progress in the game. The most important objectives of the research were: - Preparing Mayer's cognitive strategy in learning some types of fixed and moving shooting in handball for juniors. - Identifying the effect of Mayer's cognitive strategy in learning some types of fixed and moving shooting in handball for juniors. The experimental method was used, while the research sample was juniors, and after applying the strategy, the most important conclusions were reached: Mayer's cognitive strategy helped in learning some types of fixed and moving shooting in handball for juniors. Accordingly, it was recommended: Adopting Mayer's cognitive strategy because it helped in learning some types of fixed and moving shooting in handball for juniors
