Abstract

The research problem highlights that players' awareness of their physical capabilities, which reduces their psychological hesitation, may be an important factor in improving their self-confidence. Psychological hesitation is considered an important psychological skill in sports competitions in general, and volleyball competitions in particular. The researcher also noted a lack of self-confidence, which is reflected in their performance during training and competitions, especially since psychological hesitation is considered one of the most important factors influencing an athlete's behavior and self-confidence, whether positively or negatively. The research also aims to: identify the research scale (psychological frequency of volleyball players according to their specialization). Comparing the psychological frequency (of volleyball players according to their specialization). The researcher chose the descriptive approach with the survey method and chose a sample of (112) players with different specializations in volleyball. It was divided into a survey and a main experiment. Then the researcher chose the psychological frequency scale. After that, the scale was applied to the main sample, which numbered (102) players. The results and differences between the specializations were extracted, which showed that there were no differences. The researcher reached several conclusions and recommendations, including the possibility of applying the psychological frequency scale to different specializations of volleyball players. A psychological hesitation scale was developed for various volleyball player disciplines. It is important to focus on psychological skills, including psychological hesitation. It is also important to work on the psychological factor related to each volleyball discipline.
