Sports activities and their relationship to psychological flexibility among physical education teachers

The research problem is summarized in the increase in the various pressures of life as a result of the harsh conditions experienced by the Iraqi society in general and what physical education teachers face in schools in particular and the occurrence of psychological disorders in them that lead to the lack of psychological flexibility that they enjoy and this affects the level of sports activity during the lesson of physical education and the lack of stability and development. The objectives of the research were: Preparing a measure of physical activity for physical education teachers, preparing a measure of psychological resilience for physical education teachers, knowing the relationship between physical activity and psychological resilience among physical education teachers. As for the second chapter, the researcher dealt with many theoretical studies related to the topic of the research. The third chapter included the research community (23 teachers) and its sample (15 teachers) for the main experience . The third chapter also contained the homogeneity of the sample and the means and tools used in the research, and the scales used in the research were presented in their detailed form, as well as the exploratory experiment and the main experiment and its details down to the statistical methods used in the research. As for the fourth chapter, it contained a presentation of the results that emerged through the use of statistical methods and the processing of raw data obtained from the measures used, and the results were presented, analyzed and discussed. In Chapter Five, the researcher drew several conclusions, including: There is a positive relationship between psychological resilience and sports activity. The researcher recommended several recommendations, including: conducting similar research with more possibilities and on different samples of physical education teachers.
