This study looked at the impact of exercise program which had the support of assistive devices in the rehab of athletes with anterior cruciate ligament injuries. We used the experimental method on a samples of 40 athletes which we divided into two equal groups. The program which we ran for 12 weeks saw 3 sessions per week. We used standardized tests which looked at muscle strength, range of motion, pain and functional stability. What we found was a great difference between the experimental group and the control group in all tested areas which saw an improvement in muscle strength by 39.6% as opposed to 16.1% in the control group and in range of motion by 48.5% as opposed to 31.1% in the control group. Also we saw a great drop in pain level from 7.2 to 1.4 in the experimental group compared to a drop from 7.4 to 3.2 in the control group. Static balance also improved by 133.3% in the experiment group vs. 63% in the control group. We concluded that the put forth program is very effective and safe which contributes to a greater rate of recovery and we got better results than what is seen in traditional methods. We recommended the adoption of this put forth protocol in physiotherapy centers and the training of professionals in the use of assistive devices.
