An analytical study into the ratios and effectiveness of the success of the shooting of the corner player for the Men's World Championship (2025) in handball

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the ratios and effectiveness of the shooting of the player (corner) and their role in achieving the victory of the match, as well as revealing the most used and effective teams to shoot from the center (corner) in the matches of the Men's World Championship (2025) in handball, and the researcher used the descriptive method in the survey method for its suitability and the nature of the research, and the sample was selected by the random method, which included the teams that qualified for the quarterfinals, in addition to the semi-finals and the final match within the tournament. The sample was selected by the random method, which included the teams that qualified for the eighth round in addition to the semifinals and the final match within the tournament, and relied on the International Handball Federation website to obtain video recordings of the matches of the analyzed teams under study, and the data were recorded through a prepared analysis form, where they are later classified and processed statistically, and the results were reached, the most important of which were:                        

-The number of shooting attempts for the teams from the center of the center in the eighth round was more intense than in the semi-finals and the final match.

-The effectiveness of successful shooting from the center of the field had a clear impact on the outcome of the matches in all rounds.
