يهدف البحث الى التعرف على فاعلية استخدام استراتيجية (Numbered heads ) في تحسين الذكاء الاجتماعي وتعلم مهارتي المناولة والتصويب بالوثب عاليا بكرة اليد للطلاب بأعمار (15-16) سنة وكذلك بالإضافة إلى معرفة أيهما أفضل (استراتيجية Numbered heads أم المنهج المتبع) في متغيرات البحث قيد الدراسة, وقد استعملت الباحثة المنهج التجريبي وذلك لملائمته لطبيعة البحث وقد تكونت عينة البحث من طلاب الصف الرابع اعدادي من اعدادية السويس للبنين وعددهم يبلغ (30) طالباً وقد قسموا إلى مجموعتين وبواقع (15) طالباً لكل مجموعة, وكذلك أجريت لهم الاختبارات القبلية في مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي ومهارتي المناولة والتصويب بالوثب عاليا بكرة اليد، طبقت (استراتيجية Numbered heads) على المجموعة بينما طبق المنهج المتبع على المجموعة الضابطة، واستنتجت الباحثة ان ( استراتيجية Numbered heads ) لها فاعلية إيجابية في تحسين الذكاء الاجتماعي وتعلم مهارتي المناولة والتصويب بالوثب عاليا لدى الطلاب, ولقد أوصت الباحثة باستخدام هذه الاستراتيجية في مهارات وفعاليات أخرى والاهتمام بجميع مهارات كرة اليد وذلك من اجل تحقيق أفضل المستويات.
