Abstract

The researcher compared the players of the national team who participated in the last West Asian Championship. The researcher divided the main players into two groups, each containing five players. Group A used nutritional supplements before the match and between halves, while the other group used a normal solution containing nothing for four consecutive matches in order to find out whether these supplements were effective in increasing the players' physical performance during the match, as well as the rate of calories consumed during the match, in order to determine the extent to which taking certain nutritional supplements contributed to increasing physical performance during the match. The results showed statistically significant differences in the distances covered and energy consumed in favor of Group A. The researcher concluded that nutritional supplements had a clear positive effect on some physical achievements and had an impact compared to the other group.
