إن تطور التربية الرياضية في أي بلد يعتمد أولا وأخيرا على التخطيط العلمي الذي
يستخدم العلوم والمعارف بوعي كامل لإرساء مقومات البناء الرياضي وتقدمه على اسس قوية وصلبة ، ومن أهم هذه العلوم الأساسية (علم النفس الرياضي) تكمن مشكلة البحث الحالي في الاجابة عن السؤال الاتي "هل هناك علاقة بين الذكاء الاجتماعي بالسمات الشخصية لدى طلبة مرحلة الرابعة ويهدف البحث الى التعرف على الذكاء الاجتماعي و السمات الشخصية لدى طلبة المرحلة الرابعة والتعرف على العلاقة بين الذكاء الاجتماعي والسمات الشخصيه وفرض الباحث بانه توجد علاقة ارتباط ذات دلاله احصائية بين الذكاء الاجتماعي والسمات الشخصية. واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي لملائمته عينة البحث واستخدم الباحث مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي ومقياس السمات الشخصية واستنتج الباحث هنالك ارتباط معنوي لعينة البحث بيــــــن,الذكاء,الاجتمــــاعي والــــسمات الشخصيه (العصبيه –العدوانية –القابلية للاستثاره-الاجتماع-الهدوء-السيطرة-الكف) رلا ويوصي الباحث ضرورة الاهتمام بالسمات الشخصية لما لها دور مهم في التعامل مع الاخرين التأكيد على اهمية الذكاء الاجتماعي من خلال توجيه الاساتذه لطلبة وكيفية استخدام هذا الذكاء على المنهج الاجتماعي .
