Abstract

 The research problem emerged and through the researchers' access to the progress of the teaching process and some practical lessons for students of the second stage of handball, there was a discrepancy in the performance of some basic skills and weakness in their implementation and the difficulty of applying those skills and it is not easy to learn by students, through the use of the Zahorik model. The study aimed to prepare educational units according to the model of John Zahorik in teaching the skills of passing and deception. And to identify the impact of the educational units of the John Zahorik model in teaching some of the skills of passing and deception in handball to students and to identify the advantage of affecting the post-tests between the control and experimental groups of the model John Zahorik and teach some of the skills of passing and deception handball for students as imposed by the researchers There are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-tests of the experimental and control groups of the model John Zahorik and in favor of the experimental group and there are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-tests of the experimental and control groups in teaching the skills of passing and deception handball and in favor of the experimental group. The researchers concluded that the use of educational units according to the model John Zahorik has a large and positive role in developing skills for the sample of students The use of educational units according to the model John Zahorik had a major role in learning basic skills in handball for students.
