The Impact of Buxton Model on Learning Hike Skill in Scout Among Female Students

Abstract

     The current study aims at investigating the impact of Buxton model on learning hike skill in scout among female students. The research design followed in this study id the experimental design which includes the experimental and control groups.  The population of the study is represented by (81) first stage female students at the college of physical education and sport sciences, University of  Diyala, for the academic year (2023-2024). On the other hand, the sample is represented by 30 female students chosen randomly from the population(15 for the experimental and 15 for the control group). Ten students have been assigned for the pilot study. A variety of skills tests and observations have been used to assess students' performance in learning hike skills. After collecting and analyzing data, results have shown that the model has an impact on learning hike skills in scout. Accordingly some recommendations are presented , most importantly, is the significance of applying the model to learn the variant skills of scout.
