The Effectiveness of the Task Analysis Strategy in Learning the Setting Skill in Football Tennis among Students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Al-Muthanna University

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the task analysis strategy in learning the setting skill in football tennis among Al-Muthanna Police players. The experimental method was used due to its suitability to the nature of the research. The sample was intentionally selected from Al-Muthanna Police players. The task analysis strategy was applied by breaking down the setting skill into simple, sequential parts to facilitate learning. The results showed statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test in favor of the post-test. The findings indicated that task analysis contributed significantly to improving skill performance. The study concluded that task analysis is an effective educational strategy in learning motor skills. The researcher recommends using this strategy in training football tennis players.
