The research problem lies in the low level of offensive tactical performance (both individual and collective) among youth club players in Wasit Governorate, which negatively impacts their competitive results. The researcher attributes this to a lack of modern training methods that would enhance the awareness, as well as the skill and tactical capabilities, of this age group. Consequently, the researcher aims to address these issues by designing specific exercises intended to improve tactical performance and correct on-field errors using a precise, scientific approach. The study’s significance lies in its aim to enhance players' physical, technical, and tactical capabilities through a tactical rotation approach that fosters spatial and temporal awareness as well as rapid decision-making under pressure. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of boosting team adaptability and mental flexibility by experimenting with diverse tactical roles, thereby ensuring high efficiency in both offensive and defensive tactical performance to achieve optimal athletic results. The study aimed to identify the impact of the tactical rotation method on the tactical performance of under-20 football players. The researcher employed an experimental approach using an equivalent-group design (experimental and control groups). The research population consisted of youth-category players in the Wasit Governorate league for the 2025–2026 season, comprising 8 clubs and 188 players registered with the Iraqi Football Association (Wasit Branch). The research sample was purposively selected from Al-Kut Sports Club players; the initial group of 26 players was reduced by excluding 4 who were injured. The remaining participants were randomly divided into two groups of 11 players each—distributed according to playing positions—to ensure a fair and appropriate allocation. The exercises, based on a tactical rotation method, were implemented with the experimental group over a period of eight weeks, consisting of three training sessions per week. Following the conclusion of the experiment, post-tests were conducted, and the data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS software package
