Abstract

The study aimed to highlight the participation of the Egyptian national football team in the Olympic Games as the most important and the first world football championships and to emphasize the most important achievements achieved by the Egyptian national team in those sessions since 1920- 1948) because researchers have not touched on such topics before, so this study was found to identify the participation and results achieved by the Egyptian national team, as well as to identify the names of the players and coaches who represented the Egyptian national team in those tournaments, and the researchers used in this study the historical approach being the appropriate approach to the nature of this study and taking advantage of the sources that the Egyptian national team is the first Arab national team to participate in Olympic Games for five consecutive cycles (1920-1924-1928-1936-1948), and the Egyptian national team is the first team from the continent of Africa to participate in five consecutive Olympic cycles in football, and the researchers recommended that there should be a special archive documenting the results of the Arab teams participating in the Olympic cycles since its inception for the first time, as well as the need to isolate politics from sports and non - interference in its affairs, as well as conducting a similar study on the participation of all Arab teams in the Olympic It was achieved through her participation in the football game .
