Preparing a model for some biomechanical variables for the Iraqi level of long jump effectiveness

Abstract

The importance of the research appears by setting a model for some biomechanical variables that play an active role in the effectiveness of the long jump, as it is relied upon as a test for comparisons and for deducing strengths and weaknesses, by subjecting the research to analysis from multiple aspects in the light of the laws and rules of biomechanics to reach the best results, The research problem lies in: that the local numbers, achievements and levels in the long jump effectiveness for all groups, especially the applicants, are far away from the continental and global levels, as well as the proven Iraqi record in the long jump since the eighties of the last century, all of this generated for the researcher a problem that he tried to study, which may be one of the most important reasons As well as the lack of coaches to model biomechanical variables and take it as a criterion, and from here the researcher resorted to the study of those variables biomechanical for the effectiveness of the long jump for the applicants, And extracting the values ​​of these variables, and comparing them with objective values ​​embodied in the model, which the researcher hopes are Iraqi club coaches and the national team for the long jump event to reach the target distance by working on developing the values ​​of the variables so that they approach the values ​​of the model; For the purpose of improving technical performance and achievement, the research aims to:

1- Preparing a model for some biomechanical variables for the Iraqi level with the effectiveness of the long jump in the research sample.

2- Identifying the values ​​of the biomechanical variables for the Iraqi level with the effectiveness of the long jump in the research sample.

With regard to the field research procedures, as the research community is the players who applied to the clubs of Baghdad Governorate for the long jump event for the sports season (2021-2022), and their number is (14 players), as the research sample was chosen by the intentional method for the players of the Police Club and the Popular Mobilization Club only, And the number (4) players from the original community.

  The researcher used the descriptive approach in a comparative way.
