The impact of the Sukman strategy on learning the high dribbling and chest passing skills in basketball for female students

Accordingly, the researchers employed an experimental design with two equivalent groups. The research population consisted of 22 first-year female students in the evening program at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Al-Muthanna University, during the 2025-2026 academic year. These students divided randomly two group a (control group and an experimental group) each containing 11 students. The researchers then worked to define the research tests and subsequently implemented two introductory units on the basketball skills of high dribbling and chest passing, as the participants had no prior training in these skills. Following this, pre-tests were administered, and the strategy was implemented for eight weeks, with two training units per week. After completion, post-tests were administered, and the results was analyze use SPSS software. The researchers concluded that: The Skman strategy plays a significant role in learning the high dribbling and chest passing skills in basketball. This was demonstrated by the results, which showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group, which used the traditional method. the traditional method.
