Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of interactive teaching methods on enhancing physical performance and increasing student motivation in Iraqi schools. The research is based on social and constructivist learning theories, as well as behavioral and social theories. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and field observations from high school students. The results showed significant improvements in physical performance and sports skills among students taught using interactive teaching methods. Additionally, there was an increase in student motivation and active participation in sports activities. These methods also enhanced social interaction and team spirit among students. The study provided recommendations for developing physical education curricula by integrating interactive activities and training teachers on effectively using these methods. These findings highlight the importance of employing interactive teaching methods to improve the quality of physical education and motivate students to actively participate in physical activities.
