Abstract

The research aims to: To design FIT20 training exercises for gym trainees aged (30–35) years; to identify the effect of FIT20 training exercises on selected physiological variables, including maximum oxygen consumption (VO₂max), cardiac response, and blood lactate levels; and to determine the effect of these exercises on the muscular strength of gym trainees aged (30–35) years. Research Hypothesis: There are statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test measurements in the research variables in favor of the post-test measurement of the experimental group. The researcher employed the experimental method using a one-group design with pre-test and post-test measurements, as it was appropriate for the nature of the research problem and its objectives. The research population consisted of all male members aged (30–35) years who regularly attended fitness gyms in the city of Al-Kut and were continuously enrolled in training programs at various fitness facilities. The researcher then conducted the field procedures by selecting muscular strength and certain physiological variables as the research variables. Following the implementation of the FIT20 technique, the results were obtained, leading to a set of conclusions and recommendations. The findings revealed that muscular strength is influenced by several resistance-training methods, among which FIT20 is considered one of the training techniques. Physiological variables are also affected by various training methods, including the FIT20 technique. FIT20 training exercises contributed to reducing heart rate before and after physical exertion, indicating positive physiological adaptations in cardiovascular efficiency. Blood lactate levels increased in the post-test compared with the pre-test, indicating a change in the metabolic response to physical exertion, which may be associated with increased metabolic demands on the working muscles. The researcher recommended continuing to develop training methods and approaches that enhance and improve the research variables, focusing on developing the muscular strength of gym trainees, and ensuring that training loads are properly regulated to prevent injuries.
