Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of strategic planning and its impact on the performance of human resources in some Olympic sports federations. The descriptive survey method was used for its suitability to the nature of the study. The main research sample consisted of (41) individuals from the members of the administrative body and human resources in the federation. The questionnaire form was used as a tool for data collection, and among the results was that the competencies necessary to manage the current strategic planning in the departments of the federations, represented in planning, future vision, goals, preparing alternative plans and evaluation of the work of human resources below the average level in general, that the strategic planning of human resources greatly affects the performance of employees In the various practices of human resources such as employment and the career path, the planning outputs contribute to identifying the strengths and shortcomings of human resources and achieving integration among them, the current strategic planning of the administration does not contribute to increasing the ability of human resources to do their work diligently and proficiently and in improving the organization of work and the distribution of duties.The recommendations were represented in Work to increase the activation and application of Astra planning Tiji and an indication of its importance to union members and human resources, applying requirements and standards for strategic planning and follow-up in adopting practices that raise the level of human resources performance, providing material and human capabilities and databases to implement strategic planning according to it and a clear methodology, attracting experts in the field of strategic planning to develop leadership capabilities In overcoming the obstacles and obstacles that prevent the achievement of the objectives of the federations.
