The effect of the listening triangle strategy on learning some offensive basketball skills for middle school students

The research aims to prepare educational units and assess their impact using the listening triangle strategy to teach some offensive basketball skills to second-grade middle school students. The experimental method was used, and the method was applied to second-grade middle school students, totaling (40) students, who were randomly divided into two groups: experimental and control, with an average of (20) students in each group. The experimental group applied the prepared method using the listening triangle strategy, while the control group followed the school's regular curriculum. The researchers concluded that the listening triangle strategy contributed to improving the performance of chest control speed, high dribbling, and peaceful scoring. Using the listening triangle strategy in physical education class helped stimulate and motivate students, making them feel excited and engaged, and more energetic during the lesson. The researchers recommended the necessity of conducting workshops and training courses for physical education teachers to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the listening triangle strategy and its importance. Implementing the listening triangle strategy as one of the modern learning methods strategies for the freedom it provides in performance and moving away from coercive learning.
