The impact of the active learning (interactive) strategy in teaching some types of deception in handball for students

Abstract

Teaching methods occupy great importance for the educational process and the goals set for it, as well as their ability to deliver the material with the least effort and in the shortest time to the learner, as well as their ability to align with the individual's potential and capabilities. The research aims to identify the impact of the active learning (interactive) strategy in teaching some types of handball deception to students, as well as to understand the importance of deception tests in handball for second-stage students in the Physical Education and Sports Sciences Department at Al-Qut University. The researcher used the experimental method with the pre-test and post-test two-group design, with the original population consisting of second-stage students totaling (30) students divided into two groups: control group (15 students) and experimental group (15 students) selected deliberately, representing the research population and sample. The researcher conducted pre-tests, applied the active learning strategy, then conducted post-tests. The research results were processed using statistical methods, and the researcher concluded that the active learning (interactive) strategy has a significant impact on teaching some types of handball deception to students. Based on the obtained results, the researcher recommends the use of the active learning (interactive) strategy in other studies, activities, and age groups.
