The impact of using Wheatley’s strategy in the fifth preparatory students’ leaning the skills of ball putting down and scoring in football.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to : identify the impact of an educational curriculum in using the Wheatley strategy in learning the skills of putting down and scoring football for fifth-grade students. The research community included (72 students at AlJawahery Preparatory School for boys, a year. While the research sample was selected by a simple random method (lottery) so that the students of the experimental group became (20) students and the students of the control group with (20) students. As for the sample of the exploratory experiment , it included (8) students and the researcher (6) students from the members of the research community and the educational program continued for eight weeks with two educational units per week, on Mondays. The duration of the unit was (45) minutes and the researcher came to the conclusions that the use of strategy and follows a positive and effective role in learning the skills of putting down and scoring football for fifth-grade students and recommends to the researcher the need to emphasize the use of (Wheatley) modern strategy in teaching by educational supervisors during their visit to schools, especially the (Wheatley) strategy because of its positive results.
