Abstract

The research aimed to identify the degree of cognitive sharing among first-year students at Al Maaref University - College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and to identify the effect of the group numbering strategy on cognitive sharing and learning the skills of chest handling and basketball scoring among the research sample,The researcher used the experimental method by designing the control and experimental groups with a pre- and post-test to suit the research problem on a sample of students from the first stage of morning study at Al-Maaref University/College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, who numbered (69) students, After distributing the scale to the research sample, applying the method used, and applying the tests, the questionnaires were collected in order to be processed statistically, and in light of the results, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, including that the group scoring strategy contributed to advancing the degree of cognitive sharing among the students of the experimental group, and the group scoring strategy had a large and effective role in learning the skills of chest handling and peaceful basketball scoring for the students, In light of the conclusions, the researcher recommends the necessity of using the group numbering strategy while learning the skills of chest handling and peaceful scoring, as it has proven positive in the process of learning the skills, and the necessity of adopting modern learning strategies in order to achieve the best results, and trying to reduce strategies that are teacher-centered and that do not give students a role to express their own opinion.
