Abstract

The research aimed to prepare an educational curriculum according to Merle's model in learning some fencing attack skills for students and identifying some fencing attack skills among the research sample, And also to identify the impact of the educational curriculum according to Merle's model in learning some fencing attack skills for students, The researcher has imposed that there are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-tests of the two groups (experimental - control) in learning some of the skills of attack fencing for students, The researcher used the experimental approach in the method of two equivalent groups with pre- and post-tests to suit the nature of the research problem, and the research community was determined in a deliberate way from the students of the third stage in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Maysan University for the academic year (2023-2024), which numbered (53) students, the applied section (33) students, and the theoretical section (20) students, The sample was divided randomly into two groups for each group (10) students, one experimental applied to the educational curriculum according to the Merle model and the other a control applied to the usual educational units, As for the most important conclusions, Merle's model has contributed to improving the level of students in learning some fencing attack skills, and the researcher came out with the following recommendation urging teachers to diversify their methods and teaching methods and employ everything new in teaching fencing.
