This study aimed to compare the kinematic variables of Iraqi national team swimmers and an international swimmer in the 100-meter freestyle. The sample included five advanced Iraqi swimmers and one international swimmer. High-speed video cameras and specialized motion analysis software were utilized to measure variables such as speed, stroke frequency, cycle length, and various body angles. The results indicated statistically significant differences in most kinematic variables in favor of the international swimmer, particularly in cycle length and turn speed. This study provides scientific indicators for coaches and specialists regarding the aspects requiring development in the technique of elite Iraqi swimmers.
