Sports school abilities and their influential roles in the motivational beliefs of physical education teachers in preparatory schools affiliated with the Directorate of Education of Babylon

Abstract

The research aim to identify the level of sports school abilities in the preparatory schools of the Directorate of Education of Babylon, and to identify the level of motivational beliefs among physical education teachers in preparatory schools of the Directorate of Education of Babylon from their point of view, as well as to identify the nature of the relationship and the roles of school sports abilities affecting the motivational beliefs of physical education teachers, has been examining the school sports abilities and motivational beliefs of teachers through the design of two scales, the first to measure the level of School capabilities in preparatory schools, and the second to measure the level of motivational beliefs among physical education teachers in them, as the first scale included (12) items, while the second scale included (13) items, and the data was obtained by applying the two scales to the main research sample represented by physical education teachers in preparatory schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education of Babylon, numbering (283) teachers, they were distributed to three sub-samples (exploratory experiment, statistical analysis, and final application) and the number of its members (8, 165, 110) Respectively, after collecting and processing the data statistically through statistical means (arithmetic mean, percentage, standard deviation, test (T), simple correlation coefficient , simple linear regression equation), and after extracting and discussing the results, the researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are:

- The preparatory schools of the Directorate of Education of Babylon have a low level of sports school capabilities from the point of view of their physical education teachers.

Physical education teachers in the preparatory schools of the Directorate of Education of Babylon have an average level of motivational beliefs from their point of view.

There is a positive moral correlation with acceptable influential roles for school mathematical abilities in motivational beliefs among physical education teachers.
