The Use of Hot Seat Teaching Strategies in Reducing Student Exam Anxiety

This study is focusing on reducing student exam anxiety by using the hot seat teaching strategy on sport psychology module. The group under investigation was selected from final year graduated student for the academic year 2018/19. Research sampling contains 66 students divided into two groups based on 33 randomly selected students on each group. Afterword, the sampling was reduced to 28 students by rejecting the bad sampling of students with low attendance and failures. The groups went through a set of an exploration experiments were the controllable group had been trained throughout the simple normal training method and the experimental group have be trained by using Hot Set Teaching Strategy (HSTS). HSTS curriculum applied based on 16 training units and for a period of 8 weeks. The result shows that the HSTS is positively affective in reducing student anxiety. It is clearly that HSTS facility is having a high preference than the normal strategy.
