The Effect of the Differentiated Learning Strategy on Teaching Some Basic Boxing Skills

Abstract

The research included several topics, the most important of which was the use of differentiated learning based on individual differences among students and achieving the educational objectives required in educational units. The research problem, based on my experience as a researcher, was that I have observed in recent years a noticeable disparity between students in learning exercises and skills. Therefore, the researcher chose a differentiated learning strategy that takes into account the student's desire to choose the type of learning that best suits their abilities, helping them achieve the objectives of the educational unit. The research objectives are to prepare an educational curriculum according to differentiated education to teach some boxing skills and to identify the effect of the curriculum prepared by the researcher in learning some boxing skills and to identify the superiority of differentiated education methods or the traditional method (the imperative method), as the researcher used the experimental method and the research included the procedures used in the research. The researcher presented, analyzed and discussed the results and through the tables of test results for both the experimental and control research groups and the results of the post-tests, it is clear that the experimental group outperformed the control group. From this, the researcher concluded that the differentiated education strategy had been achieved and had an effective impact in developing the level of performance for the skills of the right straight punch and the left straight punch, and through observing the results of the post-tests for the experimental and control groups.
