Abstract

Abstract

This study examined the impact of blended learning, integrating instructional drills and motor imagery, on improving the tennis serve among 13-year-old players at the Diyala Specialized Center. The problem arose from the difficulty of mastering the serve through traditional methods that rely mainly on practice without the aid of modern technologies such as virtual reality. Using an experimental design, twelve players were divided into experimental and control groups (six each). The experimental group followed a blended program combining practical drills with motor imagery, while the control group trained with traditional methods. Findings showed significant post-test differences in favor of the experimental group, indicating greater improvement in serve performance. The study concludes that blended learning is an effective approach for developing serve technique and recommends its adoption in tennis training programs.
