Strategic Thinking and Its Relationship to Organizational Excellence among School Sports Departments Officials from the Perspective of Coaches of Training Centers Units in the Directorates of Education in the Central and Southern Provinces

Abstract

The importance of the research lies in clarifying the relationship between strategic thinking and organizational excellence among officials of school sports departments from the perspective of coaches of training centers units in the Directorates of Education in the central and southern provinces in the departments of sports and school activities. This may represent a turning point in the departments of sports and school activities due to its impact on the effectiveness of the institution, its strategies, and its decisions. The research problem was: (What is the relationship between strategic thinking and organizational excellence among officials of school sports departments from the perspective of coaches of training centers units in the Directorates of Education in the central and southern provinces. The most important objectives include preparing two scales: strategic thinking and organizational excellence for officials of school sports departments from the perspective of coaches of training centers units in the Directorates of Education in the central and southern provinces. Chapter Three included the research methodology, field procedures, scientific foundations, and statistical treatments. Chapter Four included the presentation, analysis, and discussion of results and identifying the relationship between them. The most important conclusion was that the administrations of school sports departments in the Directorates of Education employ only a limited portion of their resources, capabilities, material and technical potentials, and their leadership, administrative, and organizational skills to improve their level of organizational excellence. The most important recommendation is to adopt research, development, and evaluation processes based on scientific foundations and standards to achieve administrative and organizational integration in school sports departments and to develop their ability to keep pace with rapid changes in their external environment in order to achieve organizational excellence.
