This research aims to identify the effect of a weight training program in an aquatic environment on developing the arm strength of para-fencing athletes. This was achieved by (developing a training program using aquatic resistance (weights) to develop the muscular power of the armed arm in para-fencing athletes, and determining the effect of the proposed program on the muscular power of the armed arm in para-fencing athletes). The researcher used the experimental method, deemed suitable for the nature of the research, and employed an experimental design. The research was conducted on a sample of (8) para-fencing athletes from the Sulaymaniyah Club in Iraq, Category A, under 23 years of age. Among the most important conclusions was a significant improvement in the maximum strength of the arm muscles, explosive power of the arms, strength endurance, static contractile strength of the arms, and muscle response speed. This reflects the program's ability to increase the productive force required to perform the bench press with heavier weights. This improvement is attributed to the combination of weight loading and dynamic water resistance. One of the most important recommendations is the necessity of implementing training programs that integrate weights with aquatic training, given their positive impact on developing the muscular capabilities of the arms. For para-fencing athletes, aquatic training is a fundamental part of their physical conditioning programs due to its ability to reduce stress on joints while maintaining effective resistance. Rapid resistance drills in water are used to improve explosive power and muscular response speed in the arms.
