The relationship between agility and the level of dynamic balance in performing a movement sequence on the balance beam among female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

The importance of this study lies in its attempt to identify the nature of the correlational relationship between agility and the level of dynamic balance during the performance of a movement sequence on the balance beam. This contributes to providing coaches and instructors with scientific foundations that help in developing training and educational programs, as well as improving the level of skill performance among female students. The research problem emerged through the researcher’s observation of low level in the performance of some students when executing movement sequences on the balance beam. A clear fluctuation was noticed in their ability to maintain balance during performance, especially when transitioning between different skills. This may be attributed to deficiencies in certain physical abilities, most notably agility. The study aims to identify the correlational relationship between agility and the level of dynamic balance during the performance of a movement sequence. The researcher hypothesized that there is a statistically significant correlational relationship between agility and the level of dynamic balance during the performance of a movement sequence on the balance beam among female students.The researcher used the descriptive method with a correlational approach due to its suitability to the nature of the research problem. The research sample was selected using a simple random method, where Section (B) was chosen randomly, consisting of (28) female students, to represent the study sample.The experiment was conducted in the gymnastics hall according to the following sequence: a warm-up was performed, followed by the agility test with sufficient rest time, then the dynamic balance test was conducted. Finally, a judging panel consisting of three specialized gymnastics instructors from the same college evaluated the performance of the movement sequence, taking into account appropriate rest intervals to avoid fatigue.The most important conclusions were:There is a correlational relationship between agility and skill performance.There is a strong relationship between dynamic balance and the level of performance on the balance beam
