The effect of the listening triangle strategy on learning some offensive basketball skills for middle school students

The research aims to prepare educational units using the listening triangle strategy and to identify the effect of these units in learning some offensive skills in basketball for second-year middle school students. The researchers used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research. The method was applied to second-year middle school students, numbering (40) students, and they were divided randomly into two groups, experimental and control, with an average of (20) students in each group. The experimental group applied the method prepared by the listening triangle strategy, while the control group applied the school's curriculum. The researchers concluded that the listening triangle strategy contributed to improving the performance of chest handling speed, high tapping and peaceful scoring. In addition, using the listening triangle strategy in the physical education lesson contributed to motivating and motivating students and feeling excitement and suspense and making them more energetic during the lesson. The researchers recommended the necessity of holding workshops and training courses for physical education teachers and improving their knowledge and concepts about the listening triangle strategy and its importance. They also recommended applying the listening triangle strategy as one of the strategies of modern learning methods because it provides freedom in performance and avoids forced learning.
