The effect of aerobic exercises accompanied by music on some components of physical, health and psychological fitness in women who do not practice sports, aged (40-49) years

Scientific research has proven that practicing physical activities has positive effects on the individual's physical and psychological health. Among these activities is (aerobics), which is a popular and beloved method for all ages. It combines rhythm and aesthetic performance, in addition to developing the elements of physical fitness and supporting psychological aspects, especially for women, and improving their satisfaction with their body image and self-acceptance. The research problem was represented by the clear decline in the level of muscular fitness for women and the deterioration and weakness of the body's muscles, especially the large ones, in the stage of advancing age, which exposes them to many psychological disorders. Therefore, the researcher decided to address this problem as a contribution to the possibility of developing an accurate scientific method to improve health and psychological fitness by using aerobic exercises in an effective manner that serves all members of society. The research aimed to prepare aerobic exercises accompanied by music and to identify their effect on developing health and psychological fitness for women (non-athletes) aged (40-49) years. The researcher used the experimental method because it is appropriate to the nature of the research problem. The research sample consisted of (10 participants) from the teaching staff of the Open College of Education, and they were chosen intentionally. The researcher concluded that there is a positive effect of aerobic exercises accompanied by music in improving the physical and psychological health fitness of women. The researcher recommended the use of aerobic exercises with weights added to body weight in health programs for their effectiveness in improving the functional and physical ability of individuals, especially for ages less than (40) years.
