The study aims to identify the effect of neuromuscular integration on enhancing offensive effectiveness among Greco-Roman wrestlers. Offensive effectiveness is considered one of the most important determinants of success in wrestling bouts, as it depends on speed of initiation, accuracy of executing offensive techniques, and proper timing of attacks. Achieving such effectiveness does not rely solely on physical abilities; rather, it requires a high level of coordination between the nervous and muscular systems, which contributes to improving technical performance and reducing movement errors. The research problem lies in the observed decline in offensive effectiveness among some wrestlers despite possessing adequate physical capabilities. This deficiency is attributed to insufficient neuromuscular integration, resulting from the reliance of traditional training programs on physical components while neglecting neuromuscular aspects. The researchers employed a set of tests to measure the study variables, including the Change of Direction Test (T-Test), the Y-Balance Test for dynamic balance, the Agility Ladder Test for neuromuscular coordination, in addition to the Offensive Effectiveness Test during a training bout and the Accuracy of Offensive Techniques Test. The results revealed statistically significant relationships between neuromuscular integration and offensive effectiveness, indicating that dynamic balance, speed of direction change, and neuromuscular coordination contributed to improving the accuracy and speed of executing offensive techniques and increasing the number of successful attacks. The study concludes that neuromuscular integration is a fundamental factor in developing offensive performance among wrestlers and recommends incorporating balance, coordination, and change-of-direction training into wrestling training programs, along with conducting periodic assessments to monitor the development of offensive effectiveness.
